There’s also a slight element of wish fulfilment, perhaps, in Ulvaeus and Andersson writing lyrics like “but he is a good man” for their ex-wives to sing.

I like this. I think I’m going to come back for this with relish too. I’m feeling them as a band on this one, the vocal blend, lovely.

It’s persistent repeating nature the main point of the chorus! Instead of opening up her heart she keeps nagging about the dog. Poor woman!

Contrast this with the richer, momentous nature of the verses, where we get her uncensored thoughts. The instrumentation is also wonderful
