As ever, the winner's reward is the coveted ASFM trophy and a £600,000 bearer bond, presented to them by the Duke of Kent. The reward for everyone else is getting to hear the winning song again and thus having something to aspire to.

Whilst I did play to win more than usual, I'm not expecting it. My scorcher of ethnic dance containing words from Hebrew, Arabic and dialects not yet confirmed from Dana was top 10, and introduction of hot Japanese beats via Nokko and Towa Tei from Deee-Lite, I am sure was top 20 without the penalty, so basically anything that beats her inexplicable #28 1998 chart position would be okay.
