ABBA - [The self-titled album] Sync Listen

I quite like this one (I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do)

I Do x4 feels quite old fashioned. A bit in the vein of Just A Notion
true. but i think JAN is quite a bit better! (sure Jan...)

09 Mamma Mia
07 Hey, Hey Helen
06 Tropical Loveland
10 SOS
06 Man in the Middle
06 Boom-a-boomerang
07 I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do

I like Rock Me way more than I should. It does what it says on the tin.

Bjorn really did fancy himself as a bit of a Noddy Holder back in the early days. They do kind of pull this off though.

Those blue sheer suits though

God Rock Me is just horrible. SOS and Mamma Mia deserve better than to languish on this album.

06 Boom-a-boomerang
07 I Do I Do I Do I Do I Do
04 Rock Me

The first half of this album is weirdly divided into stone cold classics and stone cold dross. While the 2nd half is more or less constant well made if unspectacular "ABBA pop"

I do enjoy Intermezzo. I love that they have a couple of instrumental numbers.

It's their most underrated ballad. I saw a very good ABBA cover band do this and I emoted.

I was pleasantly unsurprised to learn that this one made one of the biggest impressions on @dUb in his pre-podcast studying.

Moopy: we love this
Jark: When is it New Music Friday?
well this album was never likely to be my bag*. at least I'm here?
