Bananarama - Feel The Love & Glorious: The Ultimate Collection

Fair point, but Viva was expected to do more than it did, I think. They probably didn’t think they “needed” that.

I thought it was offered for Drama, but yes they were definitely expecting more for that project.

Honestly, you'd have thought at that time there would have been some halfway point between Madonna and Hazell Dean :D

Not for two gay club loving 80s queens there wasn’t. It’s not far from the Queen of Pop to the QUEEN of HI-NRG!

Bananarama at the BBC on BBC4 now. Is this new? Presumably on iPlayer as well.

I assumed this was coming after the event though it has taken a full year to be announced:

Intro / I Heard A Rumour / Last Thing On My Mind / Movin’ On
A Trick Of The Night / Cruel Summer
Masquerade / Move In My Direction
Love, Truth & Honesty / I Want You Back
Looking For Someone / Atomic / Supernova
Only Your Love / Preacher Man / Really Saying Something
Nathan Jones / Forever Young
Lost In Music / Stuff Like That / Look On The Floor (Hypnotic Tango)
Favourite (with Alice Dallin)
Love Don’t Live Here / Feel The Love
Robert De Niro’s Waiting…
Love In The First degree
You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) / Venus

A studio track or two from the songs they didn't use from Glorious would have been a nice bonus but I guess they may be saving them for the next album.

Some interesting choices of camera shots but seeing Only Your Love live was such a thrill after all those years:

I don’t think I can be arsed with this. I’d love to relive the gig but I will NEVER replay the album.

I know what you mean. I am totally ordering a CD and DVD but even the Siobhan reunion concert I haven't gone back to that much.

I feel like I want the DVD as I didn’t get to the gigs but would I ever play it? Fun setlist though.

Watched the video, good for them selling out the Palladium for 3 nights in 2024. Who’d have thought it during that dicey mid 90s to early 00s period?

It's not nice to say it but a BANANARAMA LIVE ALBUM does seem PARTICULARLY INESSENTIAL
