Beyoncé - act i: RENAISSANCE

but Drunk In Love is a phenomenal song? :D seriously, what DO the girls be chattin'
Too much trap!!

Boy, I'm DRINKIN
I'm SINGIN
On the mic til my voice hoarse
Then I fill the tub up halfway
Then ride it with my surfboard...
SURFBOARTTTTT
:disco:

Honestly may be my #1 upon further consideration.

The "Beyoncé" surprise drop of 2013 was still the ultimate gag of the entire music industry. The way she just SCUPPERED all the big pop girls' Christmas plans.

It lines up with something I read where someone from her record company was asked about 2022 and said “we’re not finished with 2021 yet”

Hope she goes upbeat with this one :square:

That one on the bottom row, second from the right - apparently there's no existing image it comes from

But aside from that, WHERE IS MARIAH CAREY

Ciara is there but no Mimi, you have to laugh.

CIARA OF MALTASONG FAME? :disco:

I'd be happy with another XO to be fair, i just need some melody

xoxoxo

It's giving me very ARTPOP Act I and Act II energy and I am here for it

Laminate my stan card, reinforce my buss, I'm ready for the second B'Day (which was clearly the first NAISSANCE)

I’m always interested but since she shifted away from pop she’s been hard work to enjoy

We’ll see

I enjoy the recent stuff a lot more than the likes of Sasha Fierce. I'm assuming big gay dance remixes aren't going to be back on the menu this time around :D

WELL

Here's what she said about her new music:

The whiteness jumped out. :basil:

Beyoncé's best work has almost always been her least pop stuff: Formation, All Night, Don't Hurt Yourself, Blow, Drunk In Love, End of Time... We don't need another Beautiful Liar or Naughty Girl!

Show me a world where End Of Time is not a pop song :look:

I meant her pop-R&B stuff anyway… she’s never strictly pop. but hey I’m in the minority - I think 4 is her best work

Actually I lie. The self titled album is her best work. But I personally enjoy 4 more.

I love pop Beyoncé but I’ve made my peace with her not coming back.

But then again my favourite by miles was the self titled so I just hope she has another one of those in her.

Lemonade was alright but a bit flat (:basil: )

Speaking of the pop version of End of Time, has the Redtop remix ever made it onto any streaming platform?

The progression. The growth. From Tina Knowles originals and naming her first album after a song on her group's previous album to high-concept vehicles and even higher-concept lewks.
