THERE'S NO EASY WAY OUT

I love it. Probably her most accomplished "pop" moment. She only really had about 5 years as an Imperial pop force (compared to Whitney and Mariah's 15), but they were stacked.

Debatable in the international arena, but you do you hun. I'd say MC had 10 internationally and 15 in the USA.

Whitney had about 10+2 (interrupted) on both sides of the Atlantique.

Céline has more worldwide appeal than Mariah. Facts are facts.

An absolute joy and the soundtrack to Christmas in Key West 1999. That and Waiting For Tonight :disco:

The Metro Mix is ridiculously upbeat and almost overwhelming by the time it gets to the key change at 03:55

SING IT SUEDEY.

Loufoque seems to have created his own happy endings in his head of many acts and comes on here trying to push it as FACT. When really it’s a load of old CLAPTRAP.

May I be clear, however, that of course I love @Loufoque and equally our lovely @Rita - and it would never, ever be my intention to purposely ignite or start feuds or 'stan' wars, so to speak.

If nothing else I call a SPADE A SPADE and by GOD THATS A SPADE.

Jark said it - it’s just effortless. Especially when she lets go in the last minute or so, but it still just seems so easy for her.

How have we got this far without mentioning the Wake Up Mix of "I'm Alive" yet?!

The best thing Debbie Harry never put her name to! :disco:

Featuring a life-changing key change :disco::disco:

And definitely in any Jim Steinman Top Over The Top Ten:

There were moments of gold
And there were flashes of light
There were things we'd never do again
But then they'd always seemed right
There were nights of endless pleasure
It was more than all your laws allow

BABY BABY BABY

But BACK to the SONG AT HAND, Ms Jarkle nailed it. I watch this particular performance randomly and always love David Foster introducing her, "Do you know how lucky you are to be here tonight? She hasn't been on stage in two years, oh except for this other event." :D

Just like Kate Bush returning to the Hammersmith really.

Not sure I can do a top ten at the moment, but "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" is the most underrated Celine track of choice for me.
