I bought a tin of sausage and beans at the height of lockdown stockpiling. Every bit as deliciously disgusting as I anticipated. Can you still get those tins of London Grill? I must try those again. I remember my father would eat that cold straight from the tin when he came home pissed on a Friday night.

London Grill is no more. Mr F has All Day Breakfast tins by Hunger Breaks, they contain beans, "bacon", sausages, button mushrooms (usually 2 of them) and pork & egg nuggets. Vile.

One would think it was THE GREAT DEPRESSION they way people were just putting whatever the fuck they had together.

Well we did have power cuts and had to wipe our bottoms on newspaper so all we had to live for was FISHY NANAS!
