Ha yes, he's had to scrape the barrel because anyone with a bit of sense knows he's lost the plot.

This is just the tip of the iceberg too. The real carnage is going to be when the PRIVATE SECTOR excommunicates him and the women he harassed/raped sue his ass all the way to Pluto.

The cherry on top would be Melania divorcing him, dropping a super-PETTY Tell-All (fingers crossed for a messy af Wendy Williams interview) and start dating a DEMOCRAT.

It'll be like a real life Macbeth. (The 3 witches being Rosie, Hillary and Nancy).

Geez some of the footage that the democrats have used for the trial is vile. I haven’t seen most of it before. The rage in these people. That poor police officer being crushed as they shouted PUSH PUSH like a group of medieval barbarians :manson:

I can’t with all these Trump apologists now saying that these people weren’t Trump supporters. The footage actually shows everyone shouting his name and repeating all his soundbites!

CNN implying (although could just be speculating) that Trump, Rudy and others are likely in the throws of multiple government (FBI etc) criminal proceedings, most of which will either not be in public consumption or classified, at least for now.

there’s probably all kinds going on behind the scenes that may or may not come out years later.

Coupled with the fact that corporate America is either turning their back on him or, in the case of his mounting debt, coming to collect, he’s probably not going to have a very relaxing retirement.

And let's not forget his PRIOR connections with Russia. There's so much dirty money involved.

I’m surprised by burr, Cassidy, and toomey. I thought it would, at most, just be the other 4

They (including Collins) always find a way to justify voting with the rest of the republicans in the end

He's just the like majority of House/Senate Republicans - they know Trump is guilty, they know he's a stain on American politics, they know he's dangerous and they don't want him anywhere near the White House again... but they don't want an impeached Republican in the history books, and they're worried what Fox News and its viewers will think of them if they vote Yay. Keeping their seat is more important than doing the right thing.

In a way I don't want Trump to be prosecuted.

I hope he starts a new party and splits the right wing vote in 2024.

In theory, I’d like this too. But he’s too lazy to actually do it. My worst fear is the republicans nominating someone with his awful views who is marginally more presentable

Although putting up with him on a platform for another few years will be insufferable, and will inevitably cause more violence and unrest. You kinda want him in the background, slowly turning into a joke, but pulling enough hardcore right wingers away from the Republican ticket that Kamala gets a chance in 4 years and makes history.
