Hollywood (Netflix/Ryan Murphy Mini Series)

watched a few episodes during my sleepless last night.
i currently resent murphy even more for being in the position to command such budgets, dig into a really interesting time and place (for me anyway) and spew out such pedestrian shit.

credit where it's due, i like his choice of older actors - holland taylor is such a wonderful presence and mira sorvino just completely melts my innards.

the young cast members are uniformly terrible. and poor old sheldon, that was embarrassing.

He probably only got Holland Taylor to make up for no Sarah Paulson.

I think what he’s done for many older actresses is commendable and he’s also big on inclusion on his production teams but it’s all in the service of trite material.
