My belief … is that sex is a biological fact, and is immutable. There are two sexes, male and female. Men and boys are male. Women and girls are female. It is impossible to change sex. These were until very recently understood as basic facts of life by almost everyone -
"some transgender people have cosmetic surgery but most retain their birth genitals."
Also see Lena Denham and others of the ilk. They make it all up as they go along and pass it off as 'science'.Rowling is one of those who I wish never to have discovered on Twitter as I used to love all her positive wholesome anti-bullying messages in Harry Potter before she became yet another "famous person who thinks she's the authority on all political matters" (often contrary to her writing)
If not then why feel the need to pipe in with an opinion on something that generally doesn’t and shouldn’t affect you?
