What do we think of this forgotten child (both song and video) of Kylie's PWL tenure?

Until the Golden tour you would have been forgiven for thinking Kylie had forgotten that she had recorded it. It was a #2 hit though and it had plenty of promotion at the time in the UK so there was no justifiable reason.

I always suspected that she just wasn't comfortable singing in that key (I recall her early live performances of the song being a bit iffy) and that's the reason it was consistently overlooked.

Anyway, I really like it and she looks lovely in the video. :)

One of my favourites. I was way too cool, hip and indie and teenaged to admit it at the time, of course.

I love all of the first three singles from Enjoy Yourself but I'd rank them as follows:

1. Hand On Your Heart (the true 10 for me)
2. Never Too Late
3. Wouldn't Change A Thing

I never took to Never Too Late, even now. Hand On Your Heart did chime with me later on tho'.

I adore it. Always have. The verses are everything, her vocals are perfect for me during these years - she just glides through the sumptuous PWL riverbed. Top notch from me.

Oh and the video? Love the dancing, but hate the garden cut-to's.

Hand is an absolute jackpot though. So, sure, in the fast lane of Kylie 10s it's not at the horizon point of where she can get to, but it's firmly on the 10 nevertheless.

I sort of felt the same as a kid but she is very natural in those scenes - probably because they were shot by Jason D.

Singles rank from that album:

1 Never Too Late
2 Hand On Your Heart
3 Wouldn’t Change A Thing
4 Tears On My Pillow

She neglected to mention it here during the time of Aphrodite so perhaps she had forgotten it :( :

9/10 for me too, I absolutely love it.

Hand On Your Heart is slightly better, but then that one is just stone cold fantastic.

Never Too Late would be my least favourite of the 3, but it's pretty amazing too.
