I have only heard a few of the entries and this really stood out. Not a Eurovision winner, but a decent pop song and potential entry.

I’m thinking this might do it. He’s attempted to represent Latvia about 18 times, usually with utter dross but he has slightly stepped it up this year so if he ever gets the gig I hope it’s with this.

Sounds a bit Sergey-ish.

Let him just go so he can stop trying. He's so bloody desperate, it's almost on Mihai levels! That song is ok but basic. But then there's nothing in the Latvian selection that stands a chance of doing well. I think the two years in a row they did well with Aminata was a total blip.

This won the second Semi Final ahead of Markus Riva. It's pretty sweet in a Common Linnets meets Norah Jones sort of way, I could see Latvia back in the finals with it.

Possibly too low-key to be competitive but I love this. It really is very Norah Jones. Reminds me of her song Sunrise.
