how does one make things like that happen?
 
I've never been into Dangerous and yet it was a huge hit in the US (#2). I absolutely adore I Could Never Give You Up, and always felt that or Silver Blue would have been amazing songs to have took flight with a big Summer movie feature. As a flowing album that makes a statement, I think I'd go with Look Sharp over Joyride, it's near relentless with those opening bangers. The imagery as well just suits the song titles that really are like 1950s ad slogans: The Look, Dressed For Success, Sleeping Single. Anyway, maybe I should give Dangerous another try again soon.

Apparently the last song she recorded, released on the first anniversary of her death, at the request of her family.

 
It's nice for what it is.

I see April Clouds as her goodbye (and she was very Ill throughout recording so it was likely intended that way as far as Roxette go):
