Svensktoppen isn’t the offical sales chart is it? I thought that was Sverigetopplistan.

I assume it’s the equivalent of the PEPSI CHART SHOW although correct me if I’m wrong.

What makes that post even better is that she was number one by a single point and Tusse stayed level on points from last week :D

Svensktoppen take all the placings from every radio station (so not just P4) plus streaming and then work out the most listened to songs. You have to have a Swedish songwriter/artist or if not then be in Swedish to be eligible. It is very reflective of popularity

Thank you Suomi. I believe it is incredibly important that these type of stats are provided within their full context to avoid misinterpretation or selective use of facts etc.

There's always one that flops in the voting but connects with the general public afterwards. This year WAHL was it.

A big streaming hit for Queen Charl would have been lovely, but probably too much to ask :( She and Arvingarna will have had far less radio airplay than the (still) youngsters.

YouTube ended up reinstating it after a few Swedish celebrities got vocal about the ban. But I think a lot of his videos have been removed.
