Ladies and gentlemen, there has been a military coup in London.

Myanmar's UK ambassador has been locked out the embassy, probably by the deputy ambassador, and likely on the orders of Myanmar's military. He recently called for Aung San Suu Kyi to be released.

Ahh I skimmed this in the news this morning (feel quite ignorant for not actually reading the piece) and saw this and thought it was that he'd been barred from the country itself.

This is quite shocking, and the whole Myanmar nightmare really does seem to be backpage news at the minute.
