Name 3 countries in Europe you’d like to visit

Sweden, Greece and...maybe Estonia. Tallinn looks beautiful and I really enjoyed my precious Baltic trip to Riga

I'm pretty keen on going to Bosnia this year. people only have great things to say about Sarajevo, Mostar looks gorgeous and there's some train travel inside the country which isn't always a given in the Balkans. however it's a bit tricky with flights.

also Montenegro and Greece maybe.

Sarajevo and Mostar are both beautiful (plus there are things like Blagaj and Kravice which I would also recommend), but when I was last in Bosnia last October the railway wasn't running as large sections of the track had been washed away by the floods :(

I only have 5 countries left to visit in Europe now - Belarus and Ukraine (won't happen any time soon :( ), San Marino and Andorra (both involving some degree of effort) and Moldova (:disco:). But I feel I'm more likely to revisit some places first - Poland in particular I need to explore more of, only having done Warsaw and Lublin.

Krakow is essential.

Again not in my top 3 but considering my Gran's family was Irish i have never been to Ireland; I'd like to skip Dublin though and visit Cork

I can tick one off the list from today. I’m taking part in an event in Helsinki in July so will be there 4 days. I imagine it’s an easily manageable city in a few days when you factor in I’ll be occupied during the daytime.

I really liked Helsinki. Try & do a trip to Suomenlinna Fortress if you can. There's often ferries over for a day trip to Tallinn too if Estonia takes your fancy. Just don't go on a Monday like we did, most places are closed as it's a holy day there.

Cheers, I’d be leaving on the Monday so that would work out fine.

While I was never really interested in cruises, I’ve always fancied the Baltic Sea one by because I can tick off a few target cities in one go. But the fact that they’ve had to scratch St Petersburg off the list (and rightly so) takes the shine off a bit.

Also I wish they did cruises where you can stop over for one night at least in each city rather than just for the day. Too much of a rush. Maybe you can but I haven’t investigated much

Portugal, Norway (sadly recently cancelled a trip in May) and Russia. There are loads I'd be happy to go to though.
