I think this is why I couldn’t find the winter book, it’s not available in Swedish maybe.
I read everything in English, but Scandi authors should be read in Swedish.

it's an English collection of short stories from other works, so you'd have to source all the originals. most are from Bildhuggarens dotter

i only read of mice and men fairly recently. east of eden was during high school, it's a familial drama with a lot of darkness to it which i vaguely remember (i seem to particularly recall a certain rather twisted female character) but something about it has stuck with me.
