I'm going to spend the whole night watching gifs of her in tribute. And I bet I won't even manage 10% of them.

Lots of Carrá was one of the reasons I really looked forward to Eurovision 2022. This really is quite cruel.

No is this true? Oh God it is.
There's no information on the cause though, I can't find anything. The articles just state the fact.

A touching tribute from another Italian queen of camp. (No, not GAGS)

I only know the chiropracty song. Anyone in a position to do a primer on her other essentials?

Tutto Carrà has all her ESSENTIALS in Italian with some Spanish bonus tracks. YMMV (and I'm obviously partial to the Spanish versions of most of these) but Rumore, Fiesta, A far l'amore, Caliente Caliente, Quando Quando Quando, Tanti Auguri, Luca, Pedro, Fatalitá, Tuca Tuca are all PRIME RAFFAELLA.

I'm also immensely partial to this UTTER DISCO BANGER written for her by Carlos Berlanga and Nacho Canut of Dinarama (and Fangoria) fame :disco:

That's not an odd image, the belly-button DRAMA when she was censored by the Vatican in the early 70s is a well known Historic Fact.

I mean, in no less than the very conservative Italy of the early 70s, a HALF NAKED Raffaella with this LASCIVIOUS choreography on national TV :o

Never forget when she was patronising and condescending to Madonna.

"You've matured your voice into a rich and expressive instrument. You're getting BETTER and BETTER every day. IF that is possible." :D

I grew up watching her presenting a Saturday night TV show where she would ring RANDOS on their home phone and they could win ONE MILLION PESETAS if they answered the phone with HOLA RAFFAELLA!! :disco: :disco: :disco:

Obviously this being Spanish TV the programme would go on until past midnight and she would occasionally wake people up who didn't take kindly to the whole charade and would snap at her, but she would CHARM her way through the whole thing with her BROKEN SPANISH and her PERPLEXED LOOKS TO CAMERA :D:disco:

An utter ICON.
