Drunk is really quite clever to be honest. It evokes the feeling of being intoxicated quite well.

I'm an expert on being drunk and I didn't get that from it at all!

well what a RELIEF to get to the end of this album and be rewarded with something with HALF A TUNE! It's no classic but I do enjoy the ethereal vibe, even if the lyrics are total nonsense. "to know the power of wealth, and poverty" - is that really your dream, Ms Impossible Princess?

It's more spotty than I remember, but it's all worth it for the stellar Breathe, Jump and Limbo

In summation: what bothered me about Impossible Princess is what bothers me still. Rather than coming across as a sincere soul baring effort, it actually reeks of cynicism and bandwagon jumping.

there are two real problems with this album overall for me - her vocals are whiny, shouty, out of tune and borderline unlistenable in quite a number of places, and several of the songs (about six in a row) simply don't have any tunes. it's such a chore. starts well but it's the definition of a cherry pick affair, and what a disappointment after KM94.

Then again, when you try things artistically you're going to fail as well as succeed sometimes so I really can't fault her ambition.

and Tears (a strong 08) really should've made the album over Drunk, Jump or Limbo
