That's BRILLIANT!

That dated badly now I'm in self-iso!!!

Books and music for me. Just finished Brett Anderson's autobiography. Actually really great although he still obviously detests Damon Albarn and Blur (neither of whom he mentions by name but simply by waspish allusions). Apparently he caved and wrote another volume about the group's success.

He did, I got Mr Kate it for Christmas! I understand there is plenty more bitching in there.

Might have to indulge - I held on and got the first one on the cheap so I'll see what's out there.

Weirdly, they chose this very week to put new plants in our office...the plant pots are hideous.

And with pets and plants too. It must be serious.

If mindfulness seems a bit wanky, just take a few minutes out to do 4 7 8 breathing.

I always find this helps so much when I'm stressed, tightly wound and have that heavy chest feeling (if I actually remember to do it).

Since I will only be working from home a couple of days a week (once laptop and VPN are sorted) and my social butterfly days are quite distant, I don't think I will have that much more time to fill.

So, more telly and more chocolate without feeling too bad about it. I also plan to get back on with adding my music collection to Discogs, as progress has definitely slowed.

Yeah I’m deffos getting busy in the garden. Get the veg started. Seeing as we’re unlikely to get any house inspections for 12 weeks I may as well do some downstairs gardening as well!

My first thought was that "downstairs gardening" was a wanking metaphor I hadn't heard before...then I twigged!

I wish I was better prepared. I wish I was Quarantina Aguilera. :argh:

Not everyone can handle VR but it's amazing if you can. I must have spent about an hour last night at a world in vrchat just sitting by a window watching it rain and thinking "this is so realistic" and wishing I could summon my 10 year old self from the past and be like "yeah so we don't have flying cars in 2020 and are not on a spaceship, but check THIS out mate". Then world hopped to a pub for a bit of a chat and to watch all the crazy things going on. I can't emphasise enough just how much it can feel like you really ARE somewhere, it's like having a holodeck strapped to your face.

Best with a "full fat" experience on a good gaming PC, but you can also get something like an Oculus Quest (standalone) and do the various world exploration things on it or do activities in the less realistic but still neat Altspace.

Much more exciting than this Zoom thing everyone is doing :)

Also people host parties, conventions and things on Discord and Twitch.

I've had a bit of dabble in VR as my mate worked for a posh car showroom and they'd been given a Samsung VR thing and no one knew how to set it up so she brought it round for me (honestly)

First thing I did was watch porn on it. It's very impressive.
