Very much so. They announced a reunion last autumn and have some headline shows lined up for this summer, although Mackay had already said that he wouldn't be taking part, possibly because he knew that his health wasn't good.

Sounds like this was no surprise to his family and friends. Drummer Nick Banks has tweeted that he "fought so hard". Sad news - he was very much the lynchpin of the band, musically.
