I think it’s considered the best comic book series ever. I’ve not read the full thing (it gets really weird) but it seems they’re adapting the first two storylines which are focused on occult and some horror.

I know Gaiman of course but comic books are uncharted territory for me. I am intrigued though. what's with Corinthian? he looks cute, will he eat me?

Riz Ahmed was The Corinthian in the audio drama last year, it's a shame he wasn't cast here, he was fantastic.
