Got topped up with the Pfizer yesterday afternoon. Feel knackered today but ok otherwise apart from the arm ache (which I didn't get last time). 873,784 combined first and second jabs administered in the UK yesterday :disco:

Hopefully when the numbers drop down it won't be for too long.

Many healthy Londoners in their 40s have already had their jabs because London has been whizzing through theirs, so now with the delay there’s a north south divide for vaccinations. It was only a matter of time.

This is complete fabrication of the truth, which perpetuates the North-South divide...

The same proportion of vaccines have been sent out throughout the UK (for the age group in question) - but lots of younger Londoners have got it, because there is a lower take up of the vaccine here from older people, because of a much higher proportion of ethnic minorities.

(And that is ONLY in London, not in the rest of the south).

No... I was explaining why it's not a North South divide. You seemed to be implying that we were doing something wrong in London.

We? Are you part of the vaccination rollout?

I never said London was doing anything wrong, I just called out that it was happening. If London is ahead then it is creating a divide. Doesn’t have to be a blame thing.

Here's a thing. Mr Kate had his today and was told "if you've already had the virus you'll feel rough tomorrow, if you didn't you'll get a headache today". Has anyone else heard this?

(he now has a headache so if this is true FUCK KNOWS how I had it and he didn't!)

Anecdotally I think it's a thing that if you already have antibodies, your body is likely to react more vehemently because it knows what it's dealing with. I haven't heard about headaches though.

I had COVID (I think) and I did feel rough the next day, but it seems kind of random among people I know (anecdotally)

I was told this too by a colleague who works in hospitals. Interestingly I reacted to the vaccine but have no knowledge of having had it!

I've heard that a reaction means that you have a strong immune system. That could be BS though, I don't know the science

I’ve just had jab two and my arm is killing immediately, before I’d even walked out of the room!

I don't get headaches and I'm unlikely to have had it.

Smells a bit of bullshit though
