I don't think she's been discussed on here at all, but Verite's new single Gone is one of those rare songs that takes its time getting to the best bits and then reveals itself to be pretty fucking incredible and drenched in melancholy. at four minutes long it still feels like it's over too soon.

it's just too much. I have to investigate her debut before this new album comes out.

This is very good.

I have been known to get her muddled up with Vera Blue. Confusingly Verite also had a single called When You're Gone from the first album.

I also absolutely love "Rest" (those lyrics), and am digging the new one "Youth", and "Underdressed".
