Not my favourite but I have a FILTHY KEBAB en route as we speak.

I had a rather lovely INDIAN last night, which is by far the best takeaway up my end.

We have a banging chinese round here, always fresh, never greasy and they do some really nice ‘proper’ chinese food.

We also have an american fried chicken place that does the most amazing buttermilk chicken, its sexual

they’re probably our top two but we’ve got a fuck ton of restaurants down the road that deliver so were spoilt for choice. I do love a proper dirty kebab though.

For a hangover I always crave chinese. If I am drunk I usually go for a chicken shish kebab, and my all time favourite would be an Indian which I have most weeks through the deepest, darkest, coldest winter nights. I love to cook but by GOD I love a takeaway.

Just had a nasty burger last night. Way too much takeaway as of late.

go to the cookery thread and get inspired! I am cooking more than ever before

take away of choice would be kebab (the non filthy kind) or thai

I like a curry place - I order some sweet-ish curry because I am WEAK with all of the sides. Love a peshwari naan.

As a takeaway, it will only really be Chinese for us. We only really have a choice of Indian or Chinese, and as I loathe Indian food, it's Chinese by default. Thankfully it's also a very good takeaway.

If I'm getting food delivered, it will usually be Vietnamese. Occasionally pizza.

I wish we had good Chinese here, I always get so envious when I watch American movies where they order Chinese :(

Now I want Chinese, but I've got leftover curry in the fridge. OH WELL, it will keep another day.

I used to love a chicken donner when I was flesh-eating. There was a place on Oswald Street that did an amazing one. Also, the Chinese place over the road from me did a brilliant orange chicken.

Now, I don't bother.

I wish Dumpling Monkey would branch to Scandinavia

With Mrs Bev, we don't really eat takeaways cos we enjoy cooking or eating out, and I'm really snobby about food. But we've found a brilliant Vietnamese restaurant that does delivers.

With family, there are a few local curry houses we like, an Afghan takeaway that specialises in Pashtun style kebabs and pilaus, and one of my best friends owns a Chinese takeaway. I cook great Chinese food, but their curry sauce is the best ever.

Normally a Thai red curry for me, there's also a Indian place nearby that do a nice aubergine curry.

Indian for sure. As a cuisine I probabky prefer chinese food, but chinese takeaways around here are entirely of the chinglish variety with their neon sauces.

LEBANESE.

But most often pizza if I do order in. And I missed plain old fish n chips when I was away.

Thai for me. Although I do sometimes crave an Indian, but only for their starters as it's not really stuff I can make at home.

As a vegetarian: ALWAYS INDIAN. It’s so easy to eat a really amazing vegetarian meal if you find a good Indian takeaway. I rarely order them though.

I wouldn’t even know what to order from a Chinese - they always just seem so oily with neon sauces. What would a normal person order from a Chinese? EDUCATE ME

I love a Thai restaurant but all the ones near me are a bit DEAR for a takeaway.

Mixed starter platter, crispy duck, kung po chicken or some sort of roast pork dish, vegetable chow mein <3

Pizza or Chinese for me but that's probably mainly because that's what's close.

Actually if I'm really drunk and they're closed then SUBWAY is a good emergency option.

This sounds like absolute HEAVEN to me, although I could never look past our local takeaways KING PRAWN CHOW MEIN. It is stunning.

I also LOVE crispy noodles, but if you get them delivered they've always gone soggy by the time they arrive :(

I was mildly delighted today when I found that deliveroo are finally servicing my suburb. *gets massively fat*

Thai, for sure. I never feel it’s quite as bad as the others, although I do enjoy an Indian too.

Pizza for me too. Chinese would be a second and there are some trendy salad/sandwich places (not Subway) which do the trick when I'm feeling lazy.
ooh also I was quite obsessed with Poke Bowls late last year, would that fall under Japanese?

Mine was a filthy kebab before I went veggie. I miss kebab so much. Probably Indian now.

My least favourite by a mile is pizza. I just don’t understand.

I’m veggie and I get salt’n’chilli tofu on my rare Chinese ventures.
