Who will break their score record this year?

It is SO darkly funny that Spain's points record of 125 goes back to.....1973. Imagine not topping that in the 20 or so years we've had 40 countries!

(reading back, they haven't managed to get over 100 points since Anabel in 1995 💀)

That’s rotten luck not even managing it with Pastora or Ruth

Well hopefully she will smash it this time :disco:

I felt a bit bad for her saying Spain haven’t won for like 50 years. Almost as bad as PORTUGAL!

Was that the time when Franco bought votes or something? It must have been a huge lead considering that there weren’t that many participants.

I guess it’s mostly trying to beat your score since 2016 when all the totals doubled, I’d be hard pressed to say Spain getting 150 points would be their best ever, for example - it’s like apples and oranges

Or apples and giant apples anyway

That was 68. 73 was this @lolly favourite (and still came second behind Moopy classic Anne-Marie David - Tu te reconnaitras from Luxembourg)

The U.K. will receive 936 points.

Have I made it up (quite possibly), or didn't 'Save Your Kisses For Me' hold the record for most points scored as a percentage of the total available for a very long time?

Oh don’t bring percentage of the total into this, this is not a time for grounding things in solid statistical comparisons!

If you want to work out what every country's record is for us, go wild! :tongueout:

And he predicted Zelensky would punch a baby and it didn't happen! Expel him from Nostradamus Club too!!
