Years & Years - Night Call (3rd album, out now)

Anyway, good for him getting to #1 because I thought this was going to tank.

I still don't see the tour happening in the current venues but let's see.

Is he doing big venues? I think i'd quite like to see him

Well maybe they will curtain off the upper part of the o2.

Brighton might be a shout

MAY 2022
19 – Brighton, Centre
20 – Bournemouth, International Centre
21 – Birmingham, Resorts World Arena
26 – London, Wembley Arena
28 – Manchester, AO Arena

JUNE 2022
24 – Dublin, National Museum of Ireland
25 – Glasgow, Bellahouston Park

The last tour was pretty big and played similar venues in the UK and smaller ones round the world. He's arguably a bigger name now and with another #1 album under his belt too. It still seems ambitious.

The Glasgow date is headlining a festival (Colourboxx) that seems like it'll basically be our smaller local version of Mighty Hoopla (AKA the Sugababes are performing as well as are @monsta among many more :disco:)

Oh actually that just seems to be US vinyl?

BLIGE

That's presumably over nearly 40 years though, in many different countries, including multiple reissues?
I only heard about it on a podcast recently and it was for the original US vinyl release back in the 80s. The red/blue/yellow colour strips vary in order and the pictures within them change too. The vinyl itself was also either black or translucent purple.

so much can happen in 20 minutes
it was love and we had it for 20 minutes
and it felt so dramatic

:( / :disco:

VERY SOLID ALBUM

Crave was a misstep but I think this might be their most consistent album yet.

Make It Out Alive is lush, and Sooner or Later is pure pop joy that needs to get the proper single treatment. Olly UP :disco:

Is Olly non-binary?

Hallucination with Regard - nice guitar riff :disco:

(well, it's not a guitar but WHATEVER THAT IS)

its hard to keep up with how this project is doing. The ALBAM fell pretty fast I imagine but how is Hallucination doing? Sweet Talker was top 40 for a number of weeks which was good to see

:D even if I’m not sure why

“Neil it’s Olly. Still split In two after last night. Gig at the o2 was fabulous: Only sold 500 tickets so they CURTAINED IT OFF :disco:

I've never heard that before but it's not even just the sample - the melodies, vocal stylings and even lyrics are all stolen :D

this really is a super solid pop record - and not just by male popstar standards (gays, as we know, are somewhat girls anyway).

See You Again, 20 Minutes, Make It Out Alive, IN ADDITION to the singles - so much of it POPS and it truly breezes by. excellent work from Ms Alexandra.

also obsessing over Hallucination and in all its grand theft audio glory.
