I would typically avoid putting ... Baby, One More Time in such a list, because you know she's the straight choice, but I played it just now, and over twenty years later... wig. Sometimes I don't know how we communicated the level of baldness Britney inflicted on young queens in 1999.

How is it that Gimme More still makes my buss twitch like a young twink after 15 years? The fact that it literally inspired Mariah to give us Migrate and Marge to give us... whatever Hard Candy was says everything you need to know about its impact. Legends inspiring legends.

Toxic has never been that girl for me. But I appreciate her for what she is, and what she did.

I have to say, I was one of those queens who used to say that Christina would have more longevity. Little did I know that twenty years later, Britney would be re-inventing the legal system, while X-Tina would be... still doing ballads for Disney.

Oh I even forgot Toxic. It’s perfect of course but have suffered from overexposure.

Britney simply has too many masterpieces to put in a top 20.

OMG, trust Muscle Daddy RaspberrySwirl to remind me of those fun now anthems I accidentally blacked out on: Break The Ice, Get Naked and Toy Soldier. Someone pass the G.

Actually a quick look at that list makes me so wanna go back to the twink pop years of that fantastic third album.

BRB I’m going to lip sync to Bombastic Love (so fantastic) in the shower.

That's what's so iconic about Brit's back cat. You can go on a date with a twink who just wants to cuddle and hold hands at 5pm, and end up at a slamming session at 1am, and all it took was 5 albums. Multi-faceted queen.

Ooh I’ll have to give this some thought. My top five is pretty consistent though.

The audacity of including 3 in your Top 10. I mean, I loved in a certain contexts (fucked up in Soho in '09) but #7! The rest of the oeuvre is not having it.

I think Stronger or Born are my top Britney moments based on opinion rather than hard stanning or drunken whims.

The problem is when you fall down a stan hole and declare Outrageous part of your Britney Top 5 just because you lose all sense of relativity.

I can't believe Born was never released in the US. It should be a classic

Gimme More is obviously a direct path to heart disease, but my no.2? I THINK NOT!

Gimme More is amazing but Piece of Me (and Get Naked) is the top tier from Blackout

Blackout is one of my favorite albums ever

Lest we forget the Chris Cox Megamix, and especially that segue between Overprotected and Toxic.

So glad Moopy finally appreciating Megamixes as works of art in their own right.

Some of the hidden gems I have re-discovered today include Femme Fatale's Gasoline and Blackout's Perfect Lover.

3 is a song for the comedown from tina pre-party, when you have no soul nor energy left but your inner demons still want you to look for sex and you keep scrolling past profiles on grindr until you fall asleep.

Born was just an ordinary sounding piece of basic pop that just works in all the ways those descriptions suggest it shouldn't.

True Fact: I once did a 00’s top 100 songs and Born This Way came on top.

(Well, technically speaking it’s a 90’s song, but it kickstarted the millennium)

EDIT: OMG I of course mean Born to Make You Happy and nothing else!!!
