Kylie - Magic

Yeah, I don’t think anyone expects a single from Kylie to chart high these days. The least we expect is a decent song/video/live performance.
I haven’t even dared to watch the live Say Something perf yet after seeing the filter it was filmed on. I like the song though.
I hope for Magic she ditches the awful starry filter and goes for something more, shall I say, magical.
 
The artwork is HORRIFIC, but still soo excited to hear the song! Hoping for a (the lovely)Debbie McGee inspired video!

I think this is Kate Moross's work.
 
I actually quite like the artwork. I imagine the actual shot was a little plain which is why they jazzed it up a bit.
 
I don't really have much of an opinion either way. Particularly when it's so meaningless now. As an image on my phone while it's playing, it will be perfectly serviceable.

In all likelihood this will also be one of the shots in the album booklet and even then it's redundant.
 
Someone on PJ posted a quote from "someone" who has apparently heard it and it was compared to Chained To The Rhythm.

I was going to say I don't think I bought Golden, but then I remember I bought that large boxset for when it was cheap on amazon about six months or so after release.

Certainly never opened it though. I think it's in the spare room, still in the box it arrived in.
 
That single cover reminds me of when I had to design album artwork for media studies and just used EVERY TRICK AVAILABLE.

Well that photo alone (presumably/hopefully a still from the video) has destroyed every other visual from the Disco era so far. More of this please Miss Kylie ANN and less cheapo 'fun' filter play please..
 
Queen K looks resplendent as a golden disco goddess. No messing around with the song and video double whammy too.
