Moderation Requests

Is there any chance we could have Dark Moopy threads show up in Recent Posts? That's how I generally navigate Moopy and it could get annoying going to that forum all the time in case anyone's posted.

I think what @Reindieer initially suggested was better, where they would with a mandatory tag infront of them.

If people were especially bothered, they could be banned the same way as people are bnned from the Cornova forum.
 
The thread titles would clearly say Dark Moopy underneath them as they currently are, so people would know not to click on them if they don't want to.

This seems the best way forward to me. People who want them in new posts get them, people who don't need never know it exists.

It's not that I don't want to look at them occasionally, it's just the recent posts being clogged up with absolute grot as it was the other night.

I think I'm just not enjoying some of the content of late. Not that I have a right to, but for me it's taken a turn recently to a gross rather than outrageous and funny. And the content I expect to be in Dark Moopy is an exact reflection of this.

Same. I don't want anything to do with it, I haven't been in it and I'm happy that the content doesn't appear in Recent Posts. I just wanted that kind of stuff out of the Community forum. I'm hoping it'll burn itself out in the same way that people got fed up with Jackass, or similar.
 
I didn't say to stop. If if makes you happy, which it clearly does, then post away.

I like outrageous humour, I just don't love some of the gross out stuff.
 
I still don't see the problem with having Dark Moopy threads in recent posts - they're still confined to their own forum, they'd be clearly labelled so can be very easily ignored if you're so inclined, but it would make things much more convenient for people who do want to see them.

I suspect octy is right and it will burn itself out anyway largely. But getting banned from the dark moopy forum is the way to go. That way you need never know it exists. You won't even see it listed.
