Molly Sandén is a genuinely big name on the Swedish music scene with many major hits in her catalogue. Unfortunately, her Melodifestivalen history is rather less distinguished. She's comfortably qualified for the finals on all three of her entries, but she's never really entered a song that felt worthy of her stature.

Why Am I Crying is probably the best of the bunch, it's very professional and could pass as a Kelly Clarkson album track from around the time of its release. Unfortunately, that's as high praise as I can offer it, because it's ultimately just really boring. Hopefully she'll be back again with something more exciting in the next few years.

You have Apocalypt Flyer, who loves tennis (currently being won forever until the end of time by Djokovic and Zverev, two of the worst people ever); Suomi, who loves @HerSereneHighnessAnniFrid (can someone else put a reason why he's bad here); and Queen of the Bay, who just sent the worst Moopyvision votes I've seen in years. ALL of these people are terrible

Sanna is the literal bedrock of Melodifestivalen, entering every year since the Cenozoic era. If she was eliminated, the whole contest would slide into the sea like California in a Roland Emmerich movie

I do, however, think everyone voting for A Million Years is sick in the head, body, and possibly soul, and am appalled to be being forced to switch to voting for eternal banger Don't Worry just to protect it.

OT: What happened to Ace Wilder?

Was she cancelled. She appears to disappear entirely in early 2019 and suddenly stopped releasing music in 2017.

She spoke a few times about how she had a nervous breakdown and panic attacks before she went onstage when she entered the contest with Don't Worry because of the pressure on her and the stress of the routine, and that she felt like a lot of the pressure was off with Wild Child (which obviously barely had a routine or stage show to speak of, but also had basically no expectations around it in the final once it debuted as a result).

I wouldn't be surprised if she's effectively retired from performing, but she's also writing Malou Prytz's entry at the next Melodifestivalen, so I don't think she's disappeared *completely* from the scene. I hope we'll get a comeback at some point.
