I'm glad you enjoyed it. You got Sorrow STOP COMPLAINING :D

They'd have to do a 40 song setlist to accomodate all my needs though. :D
Have so so much fun tonight, they were absolutely awesome last night. They played a TON of songs!
It's so unique it seems a must don't it. I've been to that cinema/retail park before and it's ALSO in the middle of nowhere. But I wanna go! Why such an obscure company though? Should've been Vue or Cineworld who show anything. Bah!

My Moz mojo is at an all time low. And short of digging out bootlegs/the "complete" box set remasters, very little will revive it, so could do with going.

Sucks to be a Moz fan these days! All those new songs are awful, no wonder he won't get a deal. This is the 21st century Moz, no one cares about record companies or the traditional model.. just fucking put music out if you want. Why does he always have to be so stuck in the past?!

I am very annoyed that Johnny wanted to release that Smiths rarities album but was put off cause of politics. I still haven't checked all the ones which leaked on torrents. I also wanted to see Marr live, but missed him.. even if I'm iffy about his solo work.
Morrissey was performing this week in Israel and he gave an interview to one of the biggest newspapers here, in order to promote his show. He went on and on, when asked about M.
    Here's my translation:

"I saw Madonna in concert a few years ago in L.A. and the wasteful distribution of everything extravagant meant to distract you from the fact that she has no talent whatsoever. No one from the crowd wanted to hug her. No one in the crowd wanted to come closer to her.

She's the most succesful scam in the history of music and she never got a single complement from a person with an actual integrity.

She's not funny, she has no personality. You look at the stage and sometimes you forget that she's even there... But she has an expensive PR machine, so she was probably heavily promoted in Israel, while I would be found in the gutter with my face down, for identification purposes."

IKR, and the new stuff is shit no wonder he hasn't got a record deal. He's such a tit. Even that old hag Vadge is more likeable these days. Speaking of which, you'll LOVE this... :D
Thank you for the wine offer! I will deffo get back to you if I need your help! xx
Anyway my lovely, here are those 3 new tracks plus the vinyl b-side of Glamorous Glue(!). I assume you have Swords and Bona Drag Deluxe (I have neither) and then there's that new Greatest Hits with an even sillier rarity - a solo version of Interlude, though a nice looking DVD. I think I heard the new tracks on Bona Drag so never bothered, Swords at least makes sense as a cohesive listen but only one or two tracks I didn't have - and the deluxe version of YATQ no doubt accounts for most of it. Confusing!

This though was a small glimmer of hope on the horizon :disco: - and of course 10 years too late! But my gosh at the price. :| Looks so lovely though.
IKR! I love Moz-solo (at least for news and used to look at it religiously :shy:) and he's a real idiot for doing that as that site kept him afloat through the wilderness years. It makes me sick that David Tseng with his excellent fansite resource gets banned, yet that freak cunt Julia gets official validation. :manson: I mean honestly.

His latest rant is the worst yet and has actually got him heavy coverage worldwide. Oh dear! Brixton will be a very interesting atmosphere now... could some hecklers be thrown out? I dunno, I'm sure he'll be rapturously received again regardless. I thought he was really good and the best I've seen him for a while, so I'm sure you'll love it.
Yeah the new songs are pretty grim - "People Are The Same Everywhere", really Morrissey?

He was rather fabulous live mind, naturally he did all 3 new songs(!) which I listened to on the train down and I can send you the mp3s if you like.

Again much of the set featured songs he's done many times before, how come he never does Sheila Take A Bow?! But OMG I Know It's Over! Panic! Alma Matters! He also did a nice Satellite Of Love and had some Lou Read and Nico on the warm up video.

There was a big downside at the end when he did his usual the Royals are professional benefit scroungers rant which of course lead into an ultra preachy Meat Is Murder with a backdrop projection of cows being hung from the abattoir. I mean FFS! Yes we know how the animals die. Bizarrely the chipper First Of The Gang was next.

Overall it was good, and the best I've seen him for a while, like you I missed one of the last tours and only was curious cause of all the obscure Scottish dates.
I'm gutted I couldn't see him in Hawick as that would have been a unique place to see him. Blah. So I'm now gonna go back on eBay and get one of the ones for Angleterre oop north - hopefully Leeds and I'll go down and see my mum and sister in Southport - typically none near there! The English dates are disappointing actually as it's big cities like the Leeds side streets you slip down. Some small obscurer towns would have been nice but then England doesn't really DO that I guess.

Some new songs were apparently played on a BBC session so at least I can get an idea what they're like before going, I hate stuff I don't know live although the 2002 tour was an exception as those really sounded good and were Quarry songs. NME trashed his Glasto set and said his new song was rubbish. Well he's hardly Beyonce is he. xoxo
:o OMG. I never thought I'd see the day you'd be a flop loon. You attended more dates than Julia before! I suppose there comes a time when one loses their Moz mojo. :( I was the same a few years ago. I haven't got the latest GH (you're having a laugh!) and singles/b-sides either. :shy:

The gigs here were mega awkward! Perth would've been most feasible and I've been there before on the train, but even that would involve an overnight stay. If I drove I could've made most of them. I was gonna go to Inverness but something came up and I couldn't make it, so I thought about Hawick and was about to book a hotel and get tickets but some cunt on ebay snapped up the last cheap buy it now ones 5 days before the concert, I just couldn't be bothered with the stress of last second bidding on that hellhole. My own fault though, I was too dilly dallying and should've got it when I saw it.
Beautiful Kate, are these new Moz songs any good or is it time for the tired repetitive bitter old cunt to hang it up? I take it you're still going to 12 dates this tour regardless?
    My dear Kate,

I recently saw you perusing the Post Headers thread in the Forum Forum, a thread which I hope you enjoyed. However, no doubt caught up in the rush of your nonstop glamorous lifestyle, you neglected to click the YES option in the poll. Feel free to rectify this oversight whenever you get chance to.

    With love and best wishes,

Hello, and thank you for reading this post. You see, there is a starving little boy in Baklaliviatatlaglooshen who has no arms, no legs, no parents, and no goats. This little boy's life could be saved, because for every time you pass this on, a pin will be stuck into a Lulu voodoo doll causing the young boy much happiness.

Please help and pass this on to 3 other Moopy posters. Lets see how far we can get this to go!
I can't leave rep comments at the moment, but you are neither a WHORE or a CUNT Lady Kate xxx
Here is Morrissey on Desert Island Discs

And the rare unreleased outtakes Happy Lovers United and Lifeguard On Duty which come from this bootleg

I think you'll like this, dear

After being voted the worst singer EVER, Mariah was featured in The Word's "Very Worst Things Of The Noughties" list. They really hate her!

The Vocal Stylings Of Mariah Carey

The signature sound of the decade, universally imitated across the talent shows until look-at-me melismatic gymnastics drove actual singing out of town. Did more damage to pop music than Napster and Aids put together.
