  • That's a lot of awards. ONE DAY. (Before this year is over I will watch the pilot!)

And you can repay the favour (:eyes:) tonight by reading my script!
That looks like a RIDICULOUS show which takes itself FAR TOO SERIOUSLY (cue dramatic strings)

I can see why you LOVE & LIVE FOR IT!
The name comes from the title of a poem from one of my favourite poets, Percy Bysshe Shelley. Who was an ARDENT vegetarian, atheist and GAYER and a great romantic poet. He was married to Mary Shelley who wrote 'Frankenstein'. The poem itself is about the inevitable fall of all leaders from grace and I love it. Ozymandias was another name for Ramesses the Great, a Pharaoh of the nineteenth dynasty of ancient Egypt. I'm massively into Egyptology so it all sort of WORKS. Enough INTELLECTUALISM though.

BJ feels like it can be a less up-to-date try-to-be Moopy and started reading and it all seemed very good. I actually used to surf these pages 5 years ago and should have signed up then. HOW LIFE WOULD HAVE DIFFERED EH.
No No, blimpjob is one of my many mock names for Buzzjack. They come about every so often. And yeah both these sites have their strengths for different things. SOFT and the HARD perhaps.

Likewise I've grown to like you more and your persona is somewhat different here. I can be a bit reactionary at times but we all have our faults (I'll stop there talking in these DOUR clichés)

    To many years on Moopy!!!!!
Oh dear, that sounds very OMINOUS and NOT VERY GOOD.

This seems like the first and only reasonable time to ask you why you chose to join Buzzjack?

I hope we can make a clean, positive break and put our Blimpjob past behind us.
No no no nothing like that. People seem to share interests closer to mine here and have a more similar sense of humour. Simples.
It's quite an odd role - she's supposed to portray a surgeon with severe Asperger's, but as with just about any other psychological condition, it's played to the EXTREME
Yes, to date Home & Away is the only role I've seen her in where she didn't look painfully inept!
Quite how the woman has done it is beyond me - I can only presume it was her sterling work during Shane's death scene (just re-watched on YouTube) which lends her an undue level of generosity from casting directors...
It almost HURT, being a big fan of Shane and Angel back in the day. I didn't recall her being so crap back then...
Although beware, in the first two episodes of that arc, Melissa George is also guest starring and she is possibly the WORST actress to grace the series, ever.
Mary McDonnell is only in three episodes: Season 5, Episodes 7, 9 and 13 (I believe). The episode names are These Ties That Bind, All by Myself, and Beat Your Heart Out
MEREDITH GREY is a fucking wonder!

Yes she is consumed by all manner of neurosis and refuses to allow herself happiness but that does not detract from the fact that she can make me CRY with EASY on the back of some of her patient interaction.

But obviously it's really all about Cristina.
That's understandable - the characters really are a bit of a CHORE sometimes (a lot of the time in fact) and it takes a lot of dedication to stick with a show where you spend the first five years wishing the main character would just piss off.
How many seasons have you watched? Because granted, she does spend the first four and half seasons as a truly hateful, whiny bitch. But somewhere during the fifth season she just becomes...nice!
I don't know. As with anything the hard bit is starting... I'm sure one episode and I'll be hooked but every time I think OH I'LL WATCH IT NOW i then just watch Grey's instead.

WHICH by the way is the most dramatic programme I have EVER watched. And may well overtake DH soon in my all-time favourites top 3.
Yeah whatever you say. Am I to assume you STILL have not watched Vicky Cristina Barcelona?
OH WHATEVER IT WAS A TIE ANYWAY

He wasn't THAT sleazy. And he'd have still gotten it regardless.
Oh he'd have GOTTEN IT. Poor Alex and his 17th place graveyard :(

At least he gets to record an album with RedOne.
