One of the biggest airplay hits of 1999, and the definition of twee. If "Call Me Maybe" is sugary sweet pop, then this is molasses in comparison to that!
Whether you remember it from Dawson's Creek, the movie She's All That, or the background music to every movie trailer you saw in the early...
A surprise global hit in 1994 that truly stood out on its own. Outside of Enya, how many New Age songs could find their way onto commercial radio playlists? Although this was the era where you'd see ads for New Age albums (YANNI?) and compilations on TV incessantly. :D
But yeah, like "Sadeness...
Their biggest US hit and it hit the top 40 in both the US and the UK. It's such a commercially accessible single, I thought it would have hit top 20 at least in 1991. :o

Not only a top 10 hit in the UK, but also a surprise hit in the US along with the equally catchy "Spin Spin Sugar". A signature song of the thriving trip-hop movement of the mid to late '90s, and it still holds up well as perfect background music to listen to late at night. :disco:
Well, Robert Redford was revered for his looks more than his talent in the 60's & the 70's (until the late 70's/early 80's when he first got praised) , much like Brad Pitt was during the '90s & the 2000's. :p It's all in good fun lately.
He's who I think of as the ultimate blonde...
Elizabeth Montogomery from the '60s TV show "Bewitched" playing the FABULOUS witch Samantha Stephens. :disco:
That bitch was so photogenic on camera, and the other characters on that show were epic too - the first REAL TV GHEY personality Paul Lynde was on there. :disco:
Note - Roisin...
I only know about 5 of their songs. :(
I saw the "Everybody Loves A Loser" video recently and thought the song was nice [video wasn't anything special].
Thought you'd be interested, Suedey. Lead single off her new album: "Somebody's Miracle"
Called "Everything To Me".

I like it! :D No "Why Can't I?", but catchy indeed!
I'm probably the only one who adored "Why Can't I?" here. :shy: "Extraordinary" was ace too, and "Hot White Cum" is erm... UNIQUE. :D
"Exile In Guyville" & "Whip-Smart" are the other two albums I'd recommend first... "Supernova", "X-Ray Man", and "Go West" are cool. :D
