I'm still half-expecting a single/video tomorrow but she does have a history of committing to the bit. I'll be picking this up on Friday, I expect. Unless it's pouring with rain.

There's a big part of me that hopes the locking down is because it's really uncommercial. Poetry readings, spoken word, ambient/noise backgrounds. Like an absolute career-ender.

It won't be. That's coming AFTER the tour...
 
it would be quite interesting if after Midnights basically smashed despite being just OK, this album was held to a higher standard and not received well. I mean I hope it's brilliant obviously. but if it's not I'm happy for people to HAVE THAT DISCUSSION!

"The Tortured's Poets Department" feels SO LONG, but I like the vibe. great soundscape.

Once the stock is getting shipped, it's going to leak. But a day or two is no big deal in the grand scheme.
 
It would make sense if this was the backlash album - the people who don't like her are absolutely fed up and the press LOVE giving those people a platform.
