I have never understood why Chicane insisted on re-recording so many of his hits. The remade Saltwater just sounds ANAEMIC.

He did a similar dirty to Don't Give Up.

Because Alex Gold at Xtravaganza owned the rights and he and Chicane had a HUGE fall out so rather than licence the tracks from Xtravaganza for his GH he just re-recorded them.

I think that’s why the early Chicane singles aren’t on streaming in the UK.

Although I wasn't born then I think I prefer 1997 songs. Back to 1999, Saltwater is quite brilliant.
Also I like When You Say Nothing At All by Ronan Keating, and I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys, in a lighthearted way
