I loved it the first time I watched, but I was only eight.

I think I’ve watched it only once since - an unremarkable contest.

It’s not completely without merit. The Greek song is pretty great. It is definitely a dull year though, with an awful winner.

I guess they're trying to pace themselves but you'd hope they'd go for the more interesting contests if they can access the rights to them.

From looking at song names only I can only remember two songs. Fairly sure I've never gone below four or five before, from mid 70s on, at least.

I never realised what a hole my 90s Eurovision knowledge was until we did all those rewatches last year, though.

This having to wait until 7.30pm is a right pain in the arse when you have other things you could be doing if it's the wrong year
Yes it’s a bit of a dated lockdown thing isn’t it.

Then again, they keep even the old contests up for a month afterwards now, so I guess if anyone genuinely does feel like having a life instead they can just go for it and revisit at a later date.
