Some very nasty anti-bbq comments in the daily thread today, suggesting BBQs are for those who watch ITV.

I for one very much enjoy a BBQ, and barely know where my ITVX app is on my TV.

Nothing wrong with a good BBQ but I do draw the line at those little tinfoil looking contraptions you can buy from the Co-op, use once and leave smouldering in the park to cause grass fires.

BBQs are rubbish (mostly because decent quality meat is rarely to be found; you're not getting local butcher cuts, you're getting Aldi bulk buy deals), but I will also concede that the ITV association is unfair.

We all know the cuisine of choice for ITV viewers is an Upside Down Salad

Too much work for me. I'd rather just chuck my headphones on and go for a walk or something.

Absolutely adore them and miss them like crazy given I tend to live in flats over here and they are much harder to do. Even those shitty little disposable ones have their place despite being very different to the type I’m used to.

Beers, meat, bread, salads, sun, tunes, friends - what an afternoon :disco:

That's just the point though. It's a much nicer way to spend a sunny afternoon in my book.

Fair dos VV. I’m not overly bothered about them either, but just thought your post was quite out of context to the thread.
