Hot on the heels of her top 10 ASFM placing thanks to @Barnacle, Delta has a new album out on Friday. She's returned to the piano-led, confessional style of her first two albums. It seems like a bit of a compilation given that she's been releasing singles from it from two years, but those singles have been pretty good if you like that kind of thing.

I hate the album title and the cover is very 'Mother's Day present' but there you go.

There's also some kind of photography/'meaning behind the songs' book released separately to accompany the album.

Annoyed that Think About You was her best single in ages and she never followed it up with an albam in the same vein

Anyway I'm sure this will go to #1 for a week and the tour will do well so good for you Delta :)

I mean how many false starts like this has Delta's career endured in the past decade? She's exhausting to follow. The best song from this era, Back in 84, isn't even on the album!

This debuted at #1

It will be interesting to see how it holds up, her last studio album managed 6 weeks in the top ten but it A. was five years ago and B. had two hit singles on it, while this one has zero

For some odd reason she keeps appearing on my socials advertising a week long residency in the LGBT criminalising Maldives.
