I assumed Waterloo was more likely to win. Or Making Your Mind Up because Brits. :zombie:

To be honest, I am not yet bored of Euphoria being the benchmark that all future Eurovision songs should aim to surpass. I’m really glad that we have a proper HIT of the modern contest - otherwise a show like this would be all about “the good old days.”

I wouldn't rule out Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu, depending on the age of viewer the show manages to get.

I'd probably say Euphoria if I was going to put money on it (particularly with those odds), but you have to factor in the viewing demographic. The average BBC1 viewer is 61.

But voting online (I assume it will be free internet voting, right?) doesn't go that well with 61yo, so I still say Euphoria.

It wouldn’t let me stake £100 on Euphoria :(

Will the casual viewers be tuning into this - seems like fan service to me? If they’re not fans but still watching I can’t imagine them bothering to vote online for something that doesn’t matter.

I’ll just need to remember to vote myself...

*loses everything*

My mother is over a decade older than that and manages to vote online for shows like Strictly without a problem.

I think lockdown will probably drive the demographic down, but that may not have been as marked as it was now restrictions have been eased.

I'll still say Euphoria followed by Waterloo though. Not sure after that - possibly Love Shine A Light.

I'm just glad they have put a few UK entries in there to split that vote.

Loreen is 9-1 on bet365. I should have looked into this a bit more...

Betfair has more generous odds - with MYMU on 7.0 (decimal) and Loreen second favourite on 6.0.

Verka at 50.0 seems good value.

:eyes::eyes:

Put £100 on ABBA to win to return £150
And £50 on Loreen to return £500

Total spend £150.

You can’t lose :eyes:
Oh.

Wow, Mahmood, Dami, Feugo and Rhythm Inside are 100% the right choices of fan faves to re-float in peoples memories - TASTE BBC. Noted favourite of the people Spirit In The Sky would have been nice too.

So is there a show based on the 2020 contest tonight, alongside this as a separate show WITH A VOTE? That’s quite exciting tbh :disco:

‘Fraid not, dolly. No voting in the main one. Although I think the BBC are making a nice effort at interactivity here

*collapses to floor sobbing with gratitude*
