Hello Moopers and Moopets! I'm sure after the onslaught of Eurovision related activity this weekend that made us all smile and not at all angry towards certain nations (Norway was always too expensive, so fuck 'em), we're just GAGGING for more....right?

Well you're in luck, or an eternal nightmare depending on your stance, as we have another fine collection of Euro classics coming your way! Spanning...*counts*...many decades...we have another 52 songs for you to ridicule, swoon over and just get jolly excited or annoyed with before voting for your TOP 18 to progress through to the next round.

Expect ethno balladry and bops, top drawer Eurodance and pop numbers, some all time classics and some, well...other interesting choices.

Playlist will be up about 7.50 ish, ready to press play at 8PM!

Tits out for Sweden, knives out for Norway!

Voting is now OPEN! Please send your choice of up to 18 songs to me by 12pm on Friday 26th February (earlier closing as semi 6 is starting that evening). Do choose from the following delights:

Yay!

I'd say tonight is a mix of HIDDEN DEPTHS and FULL BALLS BANGERS

I'll also say the opening track is one I've discovered very recently and is a bit of a LOST GEM (in my life anyway).

Initially I didn't think it was a CLASSIC semi, but actually there's a whole wealth of gems.

I've checked the playlist several times but I'm still not convinced there won't be any fuck ups and Honey To The Bee won't start playing halfway through the 80s or something. If so, LUCKY YOU

My lack of familiarity with song and artists names, means I often have NO IDEA what to expect! Just hope there's not too much from SOME QUEENS.

Do we have a rough running time for the playlist? I'm in desperate need of sleep so MIGHT duck out before the end if it's a long one :(

I'm not sure if playlists can give you the info, but I'd assume it's around the same as the others have been at 52 songs around 3 minutes each (though some videos have their country intro so are a tad longer - nothing over 4 minutes obviously, I don't think).

I guess we'll be done around half 10....ish?

If I'm ever on the market again, definitely going down the animal route after that revelation.

Oxen look like right beefy daddies

*To stay on topic, there is at least one beefy daddy tonight, I think

I can confirm there will be a VISUAL element to proceedings

Well, there will be if I can guarantee it doesn't fuck the pages up among many other problems. Who knew a simple task would have so many obstacles

God I really have only just discovered the first song recently and have been playing Danish covers of 1960s standards as a result.

In some instances I wasn't sure what video to go with, hopefully that won't cause problems. You'll get the gist of the song surely!
