I skipped the self titled deluxe reissue tour but I can’t miss out on this one as it is my favourite album of theirs. Got tickets for one of the two September Brixton gigs and I cant wait!

So let’s rate the original album.

:disco:

is there a better 90s rock song than Push It? I don't know a better one.

I won’t rate it because I only listened to it a couple of times 30 years ago but I remember being SO disappointed by this album. Obviously very popular and successful so it’s more of a me thing but it sounded so different to the debut which I loved.

10 Temptation Waits
10 I Think I'm Paranoid
10 When I Grow Up
08 Medication (the middle 8 is a 10 though)
10 Special
08 Hammering in My Head
10 Push It
08 The Trick Is to Keep Breathing
08 Dumb
08 Sleep Together
10 Wicked Ways
10 You Look So Fine

honestly I give up at this point
Surely he’s just trolling now right

Probably not - I felt much the same at the time. I really liked the debut at none of the singles from 2.0 caught my ear at all. I assumed it was just me because I'd been absorbing so much experimental music at the time but I've never gone back to it.

^ I’m generally the same with this album. I bought it but have never really listened properly or returned but I’ll go back to this weekend before offering a final option. This was released pre streaming of course at the time so i had to be a bit more discerning with my purchases as a student so was probably obsessing over other physical albums I’d bought at the time.
