33 songs have been shortlisted, with auditions on the 28 January 2023, where ten finalists will be selected from a initial 33 entries by a jury panel to advance at the end of February.

This is a recap with some absolute peasant amateur for the most part :disco:

The early favourites seem to be Sunstroke Project with a rehash FUNKY (but weaker) version of their past entries at ESC and Aliona Moon with a sultry folk pop (with a hint of Garage) ballad:

I also quite like these ones, in a cheap hot banger that will probably be butchered live way :disco:

I'd assumed if the Sunstroke Project were in the lineup they'll sail through unchallenged; does anyone else actually have a chance?

I would say Pasha Parfani is a big competitor to them. I guess possibly Vera and Aliona Moon but they have a much slimmer chance.

None of these are good. :disco:

I feel like it's Sunstroke Project's to lose at this point?

Either way, it's narrow enough at the top I wouldn't say it's necessarily a done deal...

I also didn't realise but only the top 10 go through to the final. I assumed they all did as they're calling the first stage an "audition" :D

So it's between

  1. Sunstroke Project – “Yummy Mommy” – 55 points
  2. Pasha Parfeni – “Soarele şi luna” (The sun and the moon) – 55 points
  3. Donia – “Red Zone” – 52 points

  7. NÖRDIKA – “Damn and Down” – 45 points
  8. Victor Gulic – “Let’s Dance” – 45 points
  9. COSMINA – “Indestructible” – 45 points
  10. Corina Ivanov – “When Love’s Real” – 44 points

Anyone watching this, like from Jaywick?

Pasha Parfeni or Aliona to win please.

No more Sunstroke Project though please. Yummy Mommy is a step away from turgid horse shite Eat Your Salad.

And no I'm not watching Andra Chansen. I've literally seen them all before and no Loreen so who cares?

Pasha looks a bit like Rob McElhenney, so that works as well.

Although the SEX CULT/ HAREM vibe is running a bit thin (see France flopping hard last year)

All the contenders skipping around, holding hands to, what I presume is traditional fiddling (:eyes:) is either brilliant or terrible.

Think those are the brothers from last year
