i feel bad for lifting kate's 2015 thread title and opening salvo but:
is anyone watching this?
in the future, the great divide is between warring atheists and believers. the latter, of course, are more technologically advanced () and create an ark to leave the dying earth for an earth-like planet. however, one of the atheists reprograms a service android and a deadly necromancer to parent a religion-free human civilization that they start from yogurt cups with human embryos. naturally, they all end up on the same planet and when they're paths cross it's (low) action and (family) drama.
in the grand tradition of 2020 sci-fi shows it is lacking in some departments (mostly tone, some sloppiness/ridiculousness in the plot and, as always, fucking annoying kids) but i'm really into the story and i want more (and better) episodes immediately.
