2009 was, in my opinion, a great year for ballads. Lots of them fell at the first hurdle of the heats though, and some of the hot favourites went to AC, so let's find out Moopy's favourite.

I don't see why Markoolio wasn't included (and ''because it was shit'' isn't a reason, nor is ''because it wasn't a real ballad'', because it was). I'd have given him a 9!

Sorry but he can't fucking sing a note. There's a vaguely nice melody in there, but it's just the one from 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' so I'm not giving him any credit for THAT.

Reference scores put in to illustrate what I think the problem with the 2009 crop of ballads is. Relative to each other they are not bad, but none scales the heights of the great schlager ballads, and I doubt that any of them enters the Pantheon.
