it's no Killer of course, but what do we think of Seal's runaway signature hit these days?

an enduring classic, or the beginning of a slow drift into MOR?

Love it.

I was tempted to dock it a point due to the bizarre association with Batman Forever but felt it was unfair.

sidenote - I really like the MOR REJECTION (kinda) of this Stuart Price-produced glitterbanger

sadly not a hit or anything even remotely close

I actually really like this. Probably not my normal cuppa, he says with multiple playlists of 80s and 90s MOR.

I always had a soft spot for this - it has one of *those* chord changes in it and it's a heck of a performance too.

The whole chord sequence and the way he sings the melody over it is so other worldly for me. An alternative folk song cleverly disguised as a pop-soul record

Not a fan, I don't get much out of it at all.

He's got some proper amazing tracks in his back catalogue that I'd much rather hear over this.

George Michael's version of Killer is better though :o

I've just had a replay of both and both Killers are actually on a par 11/10s and equally enticing :disco:
