"When" embodies everything that makes her an amazing crossover country pop artist. It's often overlooked these days given the parent album's wealth of hits. "Forever and For Always" is probably my favorite ballad of hers, although I like the remaining ones too. Its #20 peak in the US is deceiving, it felt bigger and like it was on the radio for ages. Kind of like Sheryl's "First Cut is the Deepest" around the same time.
