That sounded snarky and that was never my intention, but had family there at the last earthquake and my great niece actually slept through it and Loved the fact she woke up outside incase the buildings caved in.

Marrakech is BEAUTIFUL. I was there probably about 20 years ago with my ex and my daughter as a toddler and loved it and am quite keen to revisit but am also scared after the recent scares.

The last earthquake here was a bit of a freak event - there hadn't been a sizable earthquake in the marrakesh/atlas region for hundreds of years.
