Terry Jones DEAD

I used to watch Monty Phython obsessively at about 11 years old. Although I loved their records more. One had a double groove, another a free flexi disc teaching you how to speak like Ted Heath :disco:

Obviously its nearly unwatchable now. Still much RIP.

I'm actually very sad - not only one of the nice Pythons but the man who brought shape to what they did, eventually directing The Life Of Brian.

Monty Python brought me a huge amount of pleasure in the 80's and into the 90's, even if, as Ag notes, much of it borders on the unwatchable now (the strike rate is not as good as my memory thought it was).

A proper legend of comedy.

This...is an ex-Python.

RIP

I saw the Holy Grail when I was about the same age - we had to pause the tape after the Black Knight sequence because we were all in hysterics laughing.

Bloody marvellous.
