I have to say, I love the overall aesthetic and she sounds great

I just don't really like the SONG šŸ„“

Same, the song's a bit underwhelming. It's certainly no "You Set Fire".

It's so dramatic, I don't see it as underwhelming at all! Obv it's a completely different style to You Set Fire but it's more of a throwback to earlier stuff which I love. This is mature, sophisticated and melodramatic - just what I think she should be doing in 2021 šŸ¤©

Church is a like rather than a love for me. It does feel like a statement first single, like Tina is making it clear this time around is a little different. I certainly appreciate the drama, and I like how it feels intentionally slightly off kilter (like with how the first chorus comes in), but it gets a tad repetitive.

I'm sure normal service will be resumed with a big ol ballad or five.

This opening exchange is just CLASSIC TINA :disco:

Tina, it's lovely to meet you

"It's nice to meet you, thanks for having me"

What does it feel like to be about to be able to perform live in front of audiences again?

"I get to do my job, something that I feel I have the right to do." (:D)
